Collegiate Academy, located on the Tarrant County College (TCC) NE Campus, adheres to both GCISD and TCC NE inclement weather procedures, with some differences from standard GCISD procedures:  

In the event of inclement weather, if GCISD closes, GCISD Collegiate Academy will also close. Likewise, if TCC Northeast campus closes, Collegiate Academy will close. 

Collegiate Academy will use Skyward messaging and Thrillshare alerts to notify parents in the event of closure due to inclement weather. 

Weather conditions may occur which make it necessary for the schools in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD to be closed for the safety of students and staff. GCISD closely monitors weather and road conditions when inclement weather is forecast. In the event of bad weather, we must consider the safety of all 13,400 students when making decisions about school closures. GCISD administrators work closely with local police, fire and emergency management experts and will determine school delays or cancellations based on the safety of all students district-wide.
