I'm excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Collegiate Academy! I have served in education for 17 years as an English, Math, Reading, and Special Education Teacher, as well as a Curriculum and Assessment Writer, Instructional Coach, and  Assistant Principal.

My undergraduate degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies from Midwestern State University and my Master's degree is in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Methodist University with an emphasis on English as a Second Language students and Gifted & Talented students.

As an instructional leader, I believe in serving those around you, embracing a growth mindset for continuous improvement, and committing to a solution-based approach. Additionally, working collaboratively as a team to provide the best support for all our students and Phoenix families is important to me

I am so excited to be at Collegiate Academy because I myself am a first-generation college graduate. In high school, I benefited from dual enrollment classes and entered college as a sophomore. One of the things I love about CA is the opportunity it affords students to earn a  free associate’s degree at the same time they earn their high school diploma. What an incredible advantage for our Phoenixes!
