PSAT testing will be Wednesday, October 11 at Collegiate Academy! All Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will report to campus at the normal time to take the PSAT. Please arrive by 8:35, as no students who arrive after testing begins will be admitted. The test is already paid for by the district, so no further action is needed to register.
The PSAT will be digital this year, so be sure to bring fully charged laptops and chargers. Students will be testing on the BlueBook app, which Pathways teachers have been helping students download on their computers in class. If the app is not working on your child's device, please submit a help ticket to the technology department as soon as possible so our technician can resolve all issues and ensure that test day runs smoothly.
Testing Room Assignments: Students’ testing rooms will be sent Tuesday night. Students need to report to these rooms by 8:35 on Wednesday morning, or they will not be admitted to the test.
For TCC Classes: Please be sure to contact your TCC professors of any classes you will be missing from 8:35-12:00 due to PSAT testing so you will know what work to make up.
Lunches: Students have been given a form to complete in their Pathways classes to request a sack lunch on test day. If your child did not already request a sack lunch, they will need to bring their own lunch on test day.
Calculators for Math Section: Calculators will be embedded into the digital test. Students may use physical calculators, but they are responsible for bringing their own, as we will not have enough on campus to loan to every student who wants one.
When finished with the test: We estimate that testing will end by 12:00, and students will report to their 4th period class after being dismissed from the test.
For Seniors: Seniors will meet in the basement of NLIB (the library) at TCC on October 11 if they normally have classes at Collegiate Academy from 8:35-12:30. They will then report to CA during 4th period once testing is complete.
