Collegiate Academy inclement weather procedures differ slightly from GCISD procedures.

1. If GCISD is closed; Collegiate Academy is closed
2. If TCC NE is closed; Collegiate Academy is closed
3. If one campus is open and the other closed; Collegiate Academy is closed
4. If TCC NE closes during the school day, then Collegiate Academy will close
5. If GCISD closes during the school day, then Collegiate Academy will close

Collegiate Academy will use our website and Facebook page to notify parents ASAP. Parents can sign-up for text messages from TCCD.

Weather conditions may occur which make it necessary for  the schools in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD to be closed for the safety of students and staff. GCISD closely monitors weather and road conditions when inclement weather is forecast. In the event of bad weather, we must consider the safety of all 13,400 students when making decisions about school closures. GCISD administrators work closely with local police, fire and emergency management experts and will determine school delays or cancellations based on the safety of all students district-wide.
